This weekend we went camping with some friends and had a blast. A hot, stinky, messy, sticky, sweaty good time!
We had nature scavenger hunts. Brodie filled his entire carton with just leaves, whatever…
We had campfire dinners and yummy campfire cone desserts.
After a night of tent camping, we were ready for a full day of fun!
We walked down to the park.
We made bird feeders, which the squirrels loved!
Someone was more interested in licking the peanut butter off the knife.
Oh, and someone had a few minutes in timeout.
We snacked on watermelon.
We made leaf bracelets.
We did a little Tot Schooling.
Followed by a HUGE water gun fight!
Another dinner on the campfire and smores this time!
Poor Aubree was sick, so she and her momma went on home. Two nights in a tent with two toddlers, and I was about at my max. Poor boys were way tired for short naps and just had a bit of a hard time falling asleep. But we survived and had a blast! Although I was really glad to be home, barefoot, on my clean floors! We decided this camping trip will now be an annual event!
