I'm sitting in a labor and delivery suite right now hanging with my lil' sis waiting for Mary Claire's arrival. FYI, Anna Marie is a champ and doing great thanks to modern medicine and drugs!
Makes me wonder about my boys birth moms. Was anyone with them? Were they all alone and scared? No knocks on the door with family stopping in to check on them. Nobody in the waiting room. No flowers and balloons.
Just a part of the loss that created our family. A loss that is heartbreaking but that I'm oh so thankful for!
