I’ve met some incredible folks in our almost three years of being in the adoptive community. I look back and laugh that when we started the adoption process we knew basically NO ONE that had adopted. I mean we knew friends of friends or someone’s neighbor’s babysitters haircutter, but not one single friend of ours and now just three years later, we are surrounded by adoption friends. These friends have become the ones we do life with. Seriously, these folks have become the biggest blessing in our lives.
So while we have a great circle of adoption friends, we (well, I, since Nick is never online) have an incredible circle of cyber adoption friends.
One of those is my friend Deb! She and her husband have been on the journey to bring home a child for over a year, and now they have the referral of a darling little Korean cutie, Lyvie!
She asked me to share their tshirt fundraiser and if you know me, you know there is nothing more I love than an adoption tshirt.
I especially love these for two reasons… 1. they feature KOREA, which isn’t a country you see too often on a shirt. and 2. they come in kid sizes, again something that is often overlooked on tshirt fundraisers.
You can bet I ordered two of them for my boys. And yes, I will be dressing my boys in shirts that say “adopted”- please feel free to comment at will if you don’t approve. But for me, and my family, we choose to be very proud of this label.
Oh, here’s the shirt!
Hop on over to fortheloveoflyvie to place your order before the end of the year!

We are definitely proud of that "label!" Headed over to get my sweet girl one now!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, so much, for posting this Mary Leigh! You are a true friend. Can't wait to get Lyvie home. We'll come South and have the BEST PLAY DATE EVER!!!
