This little guy doesn't have a
"name" yet for featured postings, so I took the liberty to give him one.
I picked "Robert". Robert is my older brother's name, and it also
happens to mean "bright fame". This little guy looks like a Robert to me
and sure enough he's gonna be destined for some bright fame.
Robert is 15 months old. That's the same age Bates came home at!
Such a fun age, so much still a baby and an active toddler all in one!
Robert
has an abnormal brain MRI in December of 2010, when he was 5 months
old. He recently had an updated MRI in August of this year and the
findings were normal.
Normal, do you hear that, NORMAL. As in his brain is fine!
As
crazy as this may seem for you, this is the exact thing that happened
with our Bates. He had an abnormal brain MRI when he was about 6 months
old and then the follow up MRI at about a year showed that his brain was
normal. Fine, nothing to note. God is good, folks! Our doctor told us a
baby's brain can do some self correcting, I just laughed cause I'm
pretty sure I know the One who had a hand in that correcting.
Robert
is on target developmentally. Hello, people, why is this boy on the
waiting child list?! Why why why! He's story is so much like my Bates'
and while I haven't seen his entire file and am not a doctor, I can say
my Bates is practically perfect in every way!
Little
Robert in his pirate shirt needs a backyard to run and play in, he
needs a momma to laugh at his silly faces, and a daddy to wrestle with
him in the floor!
Oh and an added bonus, his file has some video in it!!!
For more information on Robert visit here or email erinm@holtintl.org or of course yours truly would be happy to help in any way I can!
