Tonight we traced Bates' little hands on a piece of paper. Then he colored on the cards and we tied them two balloons- one balloon for his birth mother and one for his foster mother.
We took the balloons in to the back yard to let them go.
Bates thought this was really fun!
Up, up, and away they go- as Bates yelled "bye bye" to them.
And we watched them go away, although with the wind they headed the wrong way to get to Korea, but somehow I know both his foster mother and his birth mother will see that sweet boy's hand prints and his scribbles and know that he was thinking about them.
