Tonight, Bates was in the best mood.
He was dancing around to the Christmas tunes I was blaring.
I picked him up and we started dancing and spinning around.
He was just laughing and saying "more, more!"
We were dancing in front of the Christmas tree... spinning around....
I saw glimpse of my son's smiling face, the lights of the tree, and my Brodie's sweet picture....
The moment seemed to stand still.
then I got dizzy and had to stop
It was a moment I will remember all my life. May not mean anything to anyone else, but it's one of those moments as a mom that your world stands still and for one minute he's your little boy, in your arms, smiling and laughing, saying more momma, and there is nothing more you could ever want in life.
other than your other son home and in your arms also, but that's for next Christmas
